Uganda Development Bank Limited (UDBL) was established in 1972 and is one of the oldest banks in Uganda engaged in long term financing.

Since 1997, the bank has been undergoing restructuring during which period only minimal lending was done with the objective of keeping the Bank as a going concern.

The Bank has now slowly started opening its doors to good customers. As part of a wider strategy to maintain the lead in this area, Management has decided to institutionalise the use of a website as part of its communication strategy.
