Risk and Compliance Management
As part of the Bank’s re-positioning strategy, the risk and compliance unit was formed to drive its Enterprise wide risk management and the risk
function is accorded sufficient stature and authority in the Bank’s overall operational and control framework. The Bank has continuously aimed at adequate and timely
identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring and reporting of its risks.
Inset the bank signs a contract to implement a state of the core banking system to automate the services of the bank, ensure transparency, efficiency and compliance in real-time.

Financing in UDBL
Uganda Development Bank Ltd provides short-term loan products which include trade finance and working capital loans. Our short-term lending products have duration of up to two years; they cover agri-business and value chain financing, trade finance and also include Bankers’ acceptances, bill discounting, and other short-term structured financial products as may fall under trade finance lending of the Bank.
