The Women Prosper Loan offered by Uganda Development Bank (UDB) is specifically designed to enhance access to affordable and appropriate financial services for women-owned and women-led businesses. This facility aims to empower women entrepreneurs by addressing the financial barriers that often limit their participation in economic activities. In addition to providing tailored financing, the loan is complemented by business advisory services that build the capacity of women in areas such as financial management, strategic planning, and market development. By enabling more women to start, grow, and sustain competitive enterprises, the Women Prosper Loan supports inclusive growth and strengthens the role of women in driving Uganda’s socio-economic development agenda.
