Often, potentially impactful project ideas fail to materialize into bankable projects due to early-stage financial and technical bottlenecks. Challenges such as project conceptualization, feasibility analysis, business plan development, obtaining statutory approvals, sustainability enhancement, and financial structuring commonly hinder project implementation. Through its Transaction and Enterprise Support Services (TESS) Function, Uganda Development Bank drives early-stage interventions that support the Bank’s demand generation agenda by co-creating transformative projects and programmes that address critical development challenges and stimulate growth. TESS also provides advisory services to support projects promoted by both public and private sector players from conceptualization through to implementation.
