The SME Kazi Loan is a dedicated intervention by Uganda Development Bank (UDB) aimed at supporting the growth and resilience of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across the country. This facility provides affordable financing coupled with tailored business support services to help SMEs overcome common challenges such as limited access to credit, weak operational capacity, and vulnerability to economic shocks. Through this intervention, UDB promotes the sustainability and competitiveness of SMEs by enhancing their ability to invest in productivity, strengthen management practices, and expand market access.
